Summary: God is zealous and eager about protecting what is precious to Him.

Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We all are gifted to serve a wonderful true living God Who loves us unconditionally, His love for us calls us to experience great things in life for which we are unworthy. As said in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Or do you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

He bought us with a great price. Jesus paid a price that no man/woman can pay for us in this world- this shows his zeal on us. Besides paying the ransom for our sins, we find that God delights in dwelling with us. He will not allow the joy from worldly people and pleasures to overtake the joy of His presence because we are the temple of the living God. In John 2:12-22 we can read how Jesus cleansed the temple, verse 16 says

“Take these things away! Do not make my Father’s house a house of merchandise!”

He was so particular that only God’s name must be glorified in the temple. He expects the same in our lives too. Whatever we do, let it glorify God alone. Let's abolish everything that does not fit into God's plan for our life. If we are doing things to glorify God under compulsion, it is of no use, we are not under the law – we are under love. God is zealous – eager about protecting what is precious to Him. The Bible keeps radiating the love of God behind every writings recorded.

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; Isaiah 49:16

Indeed, the very hairs of your are all numbered; Luke 12:7

Whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye; Zechariah 2:8

We are serving such a loving God. Can we make a decision to be zeal about Jesus and His word, loving him unconditionally. Let's make sure that our life would be a reason for Jesus to smile and be joyful. Keep hearing the voice of Holy Spirit and continue walking in His guidance. Amen!
