Hebrews 2:5 (Amplified Bible)

2:5 For it was not to angels that God subjected the habitable world of the future, of which we are speaking.

V. THESIS:

We reign and rule in life with JESUS.

Romans 5:17 (New Century Version)

5:17 One man sinned, and so death ruled all people because of that one man. But now those people who accept God’s full grace and the great gift of being made right with him will surely have true life and rule through the one man, Jesus Christ.

A. Not to angels

"For it was not to angels that God subjected"

On the contrary, we shall judge the angels. This world has been given to men to be ruled by it.

1 Corinthians 6:3 (Amplified Bible)

6:3 Do you not know also that we [Christians] are to judge the [very] angels and pronounce opinion between right and wrong [for them]? How much more then [as to] matters pertaining to this world and of this life only!

One fallen angel we are reigning and ruling over is the devil.

The world to come is the new Earth with it's New Heavens.
