To show that we have hope and confidence even in death, while the wicked are being thrown away.

Proverbs 14:32 (Amplified Bible)

14:32 The wicked is overthrown through his wrongdoing and calamity, but the [consistently] righteous has hope and confidence even in death.

Psalms 7:16 (Amplified Bible)

7:16 His mischief shall fall back in return upon his own head, and his violence come down [with the loose dirt] upon his own scalp.

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS, for You have given us hope and confidence until death, until we see You, while we watch as the wicked are being driven or thrown away.

A. The wickedness of the wicked returns to the wicked

"The wicked is overthrown through his wrongdoing and calamity,"

The wicked's future is to "push down", "chase", "drive away", "overthrow", "outcast" or else he/she will remain a mischief to his neighbour nearby. That's their future.

Job 8:18 (Amplified Bible)

8:18 But if [God] snatches him from his property, [then having passed into the hands of others] it [his property] will forget and deny him, [saying,] I have never seen you [before, as if ashamed of him—like his former friends].

Psalms 58:9 (Amplified Bible)

58:9 Before your pots can feel the thorns [that are placed under them for fuel], He will take them away as with a whirlwind, the green and the burning ones alike.

John 8:24 (Amplified Bible)

8:24 That is why I told you that you will die in (under the curse of) your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He [Whom I claim to be—if you do not adhere to, trust in, and rely on Me], you will die in your sins.

It's not a good motivation to accept the LORD JESUS because all of these will take place against a wicked, but the acceptance of the LORD JESUS should come from a heart that is tired of sin, and wanted a new life, that only the LORD can give.

We are in the hard times, and this usually happens to wicked people, people that will not accept the LORD JESUS no matter what, or how many times they've heard the GOOD NEWS.

B. The righteous can enjoy his hope and confidence in death

"but the [consistently] righteous has hope and confidence even in death."

In reality, our hope is in our death, because we will see JESUS and all the hurt and pain in this world will end.
