Summary: The wealth of a Christian cannot be measured by any monetary standard. Our true riches are more than sufficient for every need today, tomorrow and forever.

THE WEALTH OF A CHRISTIAN

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." II Corinthians 8:9 NASB.

I. A RELATIONSHIP WHICH NOTHING CAN DISSOLVE:

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:26.

"Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is." I John 3:2. NASB

"The Spirit, Himself, bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ." Romans 8:16-7.

II. A LIFE WHICH WILL NOT END:

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: and I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any one pluck them out of My hand. My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand." John 10:27-29.

III. A RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH NOTHING CAN TARNISH:

"For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." II Corinthians 5:21.

IV. A PEACE WHICH SURPASSES ALL COMPREHENSION:

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because his trust is in Thee." Isaiah 26:3.

V. AN INHERITANCE WHICH WILL NEVER FADE AWAY:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance, which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you." I Peter 1:3-4.
