The WayMaker!
Satan tries to discourage us.
He tries to use sickness
Financial problems
Family issues
Employment
Issues in society and politics
Any and anything and everything you can think of to incapacitate us.
And if left to our own devices, he will destroy us and devour us.
Without someone to correct or course we will crash
Without someone to direct our path we will be lost
Without someone to see us through the storm
we will be battered and wrecked.
I am glad to report to you today that we who are called by his name have that somebody.
My God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
There is nothing too hard for Him.
There is nothing He can not handle.
Because we know who we are in Christ Jesus and what we mean to God, we can say with confidence “ My Go is the way maker”.
The bible tells us “If God is for us, who can be against us”
He is my the answer to my every need
He is my burden-Bearer
He is my I Am.
When Moses was assigned to deliver the children of Israel, he asked God to validate him by giving him the name of the one who sent him. God replies in Exodus 3.
(Exo 3:14 KJV) And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
“I AM” is the summary of Being.
I AM everywhere
I AM at all times
I AM all knowledge
I AM everything
There is nothing that is that God is not!
And as Moses learned that day, we ought to remember today, that the same I Am that sent Moses to deliver Israel, has sent his son Jesus to deliver us!
(1Co 8:6 KJV) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
(Eph 4:6 KJV) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Paul understood who the way maker was. He says it like this:
(Php 4:13 KJV) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
(Eph 3:20 KJV) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
John got the message directly from Jesus
(Joh 15:5 KJV) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
(1Jn 4:4 KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Moses got it, John got it, Paul got it. Did you get it?
When people asks you, when you are challenged, when Satan tempts with the Question
Where is your God, Who is your God, how do you respond?
You should with confidence with your shoulders held back, and with a smile on your face you should respond;
He is my strength, he is my healing, he is my deliverance, he is my I Am
He is everything that I need or will ever need He is God all by himself. He is my everything and He will supply all my needs for every situation!
God does not show up empty!
He does not show up with a “ I don’t know”
God shows up with a plan!
When you go through the wilderness, know that the wilderness is just the pathway to your promised destination.
God did not say you would have no problems
God did not say you would have no hardships
God did not say it would be painless
God did not say you journey would be short
But he did say He would be with you every step of the way!
(Isa 43:1 KJV) But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.(Isa 43:2 KJV) When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Hot or cold, wet or dry
whatever the climate,
whatever the condition
whatever the problem
whatever the situation
, whatever the temptation
, whatever the failure
, I will be with you
You need not fear, if you take God with you everywhere you go
