THE WAY, LIFE AND TRUTH!

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I. Not a way but the ONLY WAY!

Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

II. Not a truth but the ONLY TRUTH!

John 6:63 ........ the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

A. When regard for truth has been broken down or even slightly weakened, all things will remain doubtful. St. Augustine.

B. Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing happened. Winston Churchill.

III. Not a life but the ONLY ETERNAL LIFE!

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 1 John 5:12 (He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

A. The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.

1. Our life really begins when we receive Christ.

a. That life really is exchanging early life for eternal life.
