The LORD is a good and benevolent MASTER. Omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, yet asking you to partake in the affairs of HIS Kingdom. Beloved, then how about you give it your best shot.

Some of the benefits of working in the Vineyard of The LORD are:

i. HE takes great care of you. HE puts the things you need within your reach. And to make matters even better, HE said HE will never leave nor forsake us, HE is always with us. Now , some of us, want to know everything and have everything at hand before we do anything. This Kingdom operates by faith, one step at a time. If HE was to give you everything at your disposal all at once , then HE might as well just graduate you into heaven. We all know what happens to children or people who are given a lot of wealth on demand. See prodigal son. You are likely to come back empty handed, drained by the world and cause some discomfort among the sons you left in the kingdom, but nevertheless, The FATHER still loves you to bits. So just trust HIM.HE will take care of you. Go read Matthew 6:25-34.

ii. HE guides you. Psalm 23. The LORD is my Shepherd. HE guides you in paths of righteousness. Not just anywhere. So if you are sinning and doing strange acts filled with unrighteousness, it may be a sign that you are leading yourself or you are being led by the enemies of GOD. Are other bona fide children of GOD uncomfortable with your actions and deeds? Make sure it is The LORD leading you. AS my Pastor tells me, HE will surely tell you what to do, just listen. Yes, Beloved, HE guides you, which is a sure benefit. In this Kingdom of GOD, HE leads and we follow.

iii. HE helps you even when you blunder. Even when the blunder is seemingly so great. Ask Samson. Sometimes we think we have blundered , but it’s just our pride speaking. This may lead to self condemnation and other negativities. Watch out for this. The LORD guides and is our sure help in times of trouble. HE helped the Kingdom of Israel and Judah, even after they blundered as long as they sincerely called upon HIM in repentance.

Just do not make it a habit of sinning or blundering. Choose who you will serve and do it wholeheartedly, and yes, be ready to accept correction. Refusal to accept correction , could be a symptom of pride lurking somewhere in your heart, and as you know, in this Kingdom, pride is a big no-no, humility is a big yes-yes.

iv. One of the best benefits of being in the vineyard of our LORD is that , The LORD has a way of taking over and making things work that cannot be explained. Some days you preach your lungs out, no response. Other days, you barely whimper at the pulpit and someone gives their life to CHRIST. Who can say to The LORD, do this or do that? Our GOD is in heaven and HE does what HE pleases.

v. Sometimes , in the vineyard we are conscious of our sins, what we did in the past and the temptation. Beloved, purpose not to sin again, forget the past and embrace this new life fully. When temptation comes, do not give it a second glance or thought. And don’t walk into it, stick to the straight and narrow. Don’t play with the boundaries in any way.

vi. Another benefit of working in the vineyard, is that you are required to take a break. One day you must rest . The MASTER knows this and did it HIMSELF. One of the first things HE did . If you don’t take your rest, you will burn out and or experience fatigue. Beloved, maximize on this benefit.

vii. Another benefit of working in the vineyard of The LORD, is that we are all unique , we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are not a cut and paste kingdom. Every body is different and has their own role to play in the Kingdom. So, its ok to be different. Sometimes, we run into problems, when we want to be like others an d start doing what they are doing in the way they are doing. Beloved, be yourself and do it. GOD made you , one copy of you, only one, so , don’t waste your time comparing yourself with others, with the greats. Didn’t HE say, the least in the Kingdom is greater than John The Baptist ? Beloved, be you.

viii. Another benefit is that you will be loved sometimes and hated sometimes. Both experiences are necessary to bring out your true colours and prompt self improvement inspired by The HOLY SPIRIT. So, when they are throwing stones at you , rejoice, when they are loving you and showering you with accolades, rejoice and give all the glory to GOD. Remember, all things work together for good of those that love The LORD.
