The Unspeakable

Summary: You can’t explain it, but there are ways to express it.
The Unspeakable!
The Word of God mentions the word "unspeakable" three times:
2 Corinthians 9:15, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable Gift."
JESUS
John 14:6-7
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way(straight and narrow, holy, safe), the truth, (the only thing that can lead and guide you safely through this life) and the life:(without Him there is no life, just mere existance) no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Heaven worships Him
The earth and all of nature praise Him
Hell is scared to death of Him
And mankind is struggling with Him (Go figure)
God’s primary focus is the salvation of mankind.
Salvation
I hope that all here today are rejoicing in this wonderful gift.
Ps 51:5
5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. NIV
Isa 53:6
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. NIV
Rom 3:22-23
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, NIV
Lam 3:22-23
22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
John 6:44
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
Jer 31:3
"I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. NIV
Luke 19:10
10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." NIV
John 3:16-18
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
God’s unspeakable Gift is Jesus. The fact, that God gave Jesus, leaves us unable to declare its wonder.
With a Bible full of Scripture, its still difficult to express how wonderful salvation is.
You can tell it, but you can’t tell it all.
The gift of salvation came through the gift to mankind. Jesus Christ is that gift.
2 Corinthians 12:4, "How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."
God’s unspeakable Words are too sacred to divulge in our earthly language.
I’m talking about words that only the Holy Spirit can speak.
When is the last time that you talked in that heavenly language.
Have you been baptized in the Holy Ghost since you have believed?
O you need the Him, not only to speak in tongues, but for the power He gives to live a pure, holy and overcoming life.
Rom 8:26-27
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
I’m talking about unspeakable words.
1 Cor 14:2
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
1 Cor 14:4
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself;
(Sometimes you need to edify yourself.)
1 Peter 1:8, "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory."
Worship.
Our unspeakable joy is joy so full it defies description.
You can’t explain it, but you sure can express it.
Through;
The lifting of hands.
