The Truth Will Set You Free ( JOHN 8:31-34)

TEXT: ( JOHN 8:31-34)

31 Jesus told the people who had faith in him, “If you keep on obeying what I have said, you truly are my disciples. 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

33 They answered, “We are Abraham’s children! We have never been anyone’s slaves. How can you say we will be set free?”

34 Jesus replied:

I tell you for certain that anyone who sins is a slave of sin!

BAG of things

1.Boots (works won’t save you) ( faith without works is dead)

2.Bottle (Proverbs 23:29-35 ) 29 Who is always in trouble? Who argues and fights? Who has cuts and bruises Whose eyes are red? 30 Everyone who stays up late, having just one more drink. 31 Don’t even look

at that colorful stuff, bubbling up in the glass!

It goes down so easily, 32 but later it bites like a poisonous snake. 33 You will see weird things, and your mind

will play tricks on you. 34 You will feel tossed about like someone trying to sleep on a ship in a storm. 35 You will be bruised all over, without even remembering how it all happened. And you will lie awake asking, “When will morning come, so I can drink some more?”

4. Pride poster-me me I I ( pride goes before destruction)

5. Clock ( I have all the time in the world to repent)

6. Joint ( this won’t hurt me)( don’t put harmful thing in your body)

7. Softball ( sports worshipers) ( Idols they become more important than your relationship with GOD)

8. Money ( the love of money is the root of all evil)

9. Bible ( the only real Truth)
