Summary: The Truth About Hell
The Truth About Hell
"All liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone." Revelation 21:8.
The subject and doctrine of hell is probably the most awful as well as controversial subjects one can undertake and speak about. Christ had much to say about hell during his earthly ministry.
It is a blessed comfort to know though that in the realms of heaven, there is no pain or suffering because there is no sin. There is no greed, there is no pride, there is no comparison, there is no lie.
A lie is build on the foundation of robbing glory from the one who is worthy of glory, God Alone! The devil, the evil one, lied and continues to do so in order to cast doubt in the minds of Jesus followers . His tactic is to disrupt the plan of God for the people of God.
However, read carefully the following text: "The Lord is... not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2Peter 3:9.
The will, the desire, the hope of God himself is this: that no man, ever should face the realities of hell. While the devil is disruptive, God’s spirit is pleading.
God has given himself in our place so we might live for him. The greatest weapon against lies is grace. Because of grace, we don’t need to hide ourselves. We can come before God with confidence knowing he loves us. Just as we are.
