Like Esther, God has equipped us with everything we need to face challenges and fulfill His mission for us, and we should take action now, for such a time as this.
Good morning, church family! Today, we're going to dive into the book of Esther, specifically chapter 4, verse 14. This verse has a message for us that's incredibly relevant to our lives today.
God's anointing for the mission is the divine empowerment that God bestows upon His children, equipping them with the necessary tools, skills, and abilities to fulfill the mission He has set before them. This anointing is not a random act of favoritism, but a deliberate and purposeful act of God, designed to enable us to accomplish His divine will.
God's seal of approval on our lives: It’s His way of saying, "I have chosen you for a specific task, and I am entrusting you with this mission." This is a powerful affirmation of our worth and value in God's eyes. It is a reminder that we are not just random beings floating aimlessly in the universe, but we are part of a grand divine plan, intricately woven by the Master Weaver Himself.
Being equipped: The anointing comes with the power and the resources necessary to fulfill the mission. Just like Esther, who was given the position of queen to save her people, we too are given the resources we need to fulfill our mission. This could be in the form of talents, skills, opportunities, or even the right connections. God does not call the equipped; He equips the called.
Comes with a responsibility: It is not just a privilege; it's a duty. It's not just about what we can get, but about what we can give. It's about being a channel of God's love, grace, and mercy to the world around us. It's about being His hands and feet in a world that desperately needs Him.
A continuous process: It's not just about the initial call, but about the daily walk. It's about staying connected to the source of the anointing, which is God Himself. It's about daily surrender, daily obedience, and daily dependence on God.
For every believer.: It's for the young and the old, the rich and the poor, the educated and the uneducated. It's for the single mother struggling to make ends meet, the businessman trying to maintain his integrity in a corrupt world, the student trying to stand up for his faith in a secular campus, and the pastor trying to shepherd his flock in a changing culture.
For the benefit of us and others: It's not just about our success, but about God's glory. It's not just about our story, but about His story. It's about being a part of something bigger than ourselves, something eternal, something divine.
In our journey of faith, we will inevitably encounter challenges ... View this full PRO sermon free with PRO
