THE TEST OF DIVINE SONSHIP
1ST John 4: 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
1.Exhortation .
Ver.7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
Do you have Godly love?
Every one who loves is born of God.
2. The demonstration of love.
Ver. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
What people see in you shows love.
If you don’t exhibit through actions you must not have the love of God.
People claim but don’t show love don’t have it.
; for God is love.
3. Motivation of love.
It is visible in our life.
Ver. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Ver.9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
4. Do your friends and family see love in you?
This is a vision people have about us.

We have to be recipients.
The love of God sent his son as a propitiation for our sins.
5. There are two functions love fulfills.
Visible evidence he dwells in us.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
6.We must practice love so it can perfect us,
Ver. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Ver.11: we are obligated.
