The Spirit Man - Series

But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him;

and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

(1 Corinthians 2:14).

God is not a man (Num. 23:19). If He is not a man, then he doesn't act or think like one. The scriptures declares " God is a spirit..." (John 4:24). I draw strength in the times of despair, when men fail to fulfill their promises, this simple knowing that God is not a man, changes everything for me. I can now rise up with courage and look through the realms of faith and say "Yes! He is not a man and he wont act like that friend who disappointed me, Oh! I can depend on him, he's not another man waiting to fail again". He is a SPIRIT and not a MAN. My heart is set ablaze with love and the fiery power of the Holy Ghost burns through every fibre of my being. This morning the Lord stands in the midst of us, just like you would look over your shoulder and see that sister right there praying, He is right here among us, one look over the natural and you will see Him right there.

Ah! (Speaks in Tongues)

I see him countless times in a day, right there standing beside me with a glance pass the natural, i see his eyes overflowing with love and passion towards me. All of us are the object of his love. Understanding the love of God is nothing like being in a relationship with your friend or a spouse. No! It is deeper and it is something bigger than the sense realm. It's take revelation to understand the Love of God.

"But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God,

for they are foolishness to him;..." (1 Cor. 2:14).

Nature is good, the pleasantness of the what the eye can see is awesome, emotions is a blessing from God to mankind. We live in a physical world and operate with physical senses but then God is a Spirit and not a physical being. you might want to ask me "Preacher, how do i understand a God that i cant see and know that he loves me". My simple answer is "Have you ever loved someone even when they weren't there" If yes! then there is an ability to know and love the unseen already built into you. God placed that ability in you so that you can step into a higher dimension of life. Now that's what am talking about. REVELATION, where you understand the unseen, just as you would the seen.

The natural man does not accept the things of the spirit because they are not natural. The natural man lives in the sense realm and yet is faced with a life thats very unstable. He wakes up in the morning with a sense of happiness and in a flash, a simple conversation with his colleague at work gone wrong and you find his emotion changing from happiness to sadness, sometimes into hatred and anger. The natural is unstable, things evolve over time. kids grow into been adults, fashion changes, the climate changes, everything in the natural changes. The only place of stability is in the Spirit.

The key to unleashing the stability of the Spirit realm into your physical life starts with the REVELATION of God's Love. Oh! how i love to swim in that stream of joy that flows from his presence. Sometimes am out there in the Spirit for hours swimming through the glorious liquid flames of the anointing as he reveals himself better and better to me via His Word.

Onetime my wife asked me "Do you ever get depressed, for as long as i know you, you always seems to be fine regardless of whats going on." My reply to her was "Honey! It's in the Spirit".

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and

peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17).

This morning, the glory of the Lord is all over this house. The rain of his love falls upon us like a storm, over taking our hearts with grace. Henceforth the unstable areas of your life will begin to experience a divine strengthening. Those days of doubt, fears and insecurity will be washed away from your life forever. Just like Paul the apostle, am "...asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him." (Eph. 1:17). It is the knowledge of HIM that opens you up into that glorious experience of the LIFE OF THE SPIRIT.

Now this should be your prayer too, the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. You can't teach love, no matter how hard you try. LOVE is an experience and not a material to be taught. The Love of God is a revelation. I thought i knew it all until on a Tuesday afternoon, I watched my child went from smiling and playing to the ICU when he was born and the nurse standing infront of me was the complete expression of hopelessness. She doesn't need to say a word for me to know that something obvious is going wrong. I left the hospital and drove straight home into my praying room and cried out in the Spirit and God said to me "Son! my love for you and your son is much more than the emotions of despair you have right now. Have I said anything and not fullfiled it? Have my words ever falled to the ground. I even I, am the Lord and the words that I speak, comes to pass. Why do you cry to me in despair. I gave my only son away to a world that hated Him so that they might be saved, do you think i would let your son die, now go in this strenght and take your son home healthy". I went back to the hospital in 2 hours and my son was just fine again, he was smiling again. The same nurse that was looking hopeless is now smiling too and saying "Your son is doing great".
