Preach "The King Has Come" 3-Part Series this week!
Preach Christmas week
This sermon encourages believers to break through life's barriers with faith, using their unique voices to proclaim God's glory and step into their divine destiny.
Welcome, beloved family in Christ, to this blessed gathering where we are united in one spirit and one purpose. As we come together today, we are reminded of the words of the great Charles Spurgeon, who once said, "It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness." Indeed, our joy is not found in the abundance of our possessions, but in the richness of our relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Today, we are called to break through the barriers that stand between us and the fullness of life that God has promised us. We are called to believe in the power of our personal sound, the unique voice that God has given each of us to proclaim His glory. And we are called to become conduits for our own breakthroughs, to step into the divine destiny that God has prepared for us.
In the book of Micah, we find a beautiful promise from God. He speaks of gathering His people, likening them to a flock of sheep in a pasture. This image is one of unity, of togetherness, of a shared purpose. But it's not just about being together. It's about moving together, breaking through barriers together. And who leads this breakthrough? It is the Lord Himself. He is the one who opens the breach, who leads His people through the gate. This is the promise of His anointing.
This anointing is God's divine empowerment for breakthrough. It's His supernatural strength that enables us to overcome obstacles and barriers in our lives. It's His mighty power that tears down walls and opens up new paths for us. It's His divine favor that propels us into our God-given destiny. His anointing is not something we earn or achieve. It's a gift from God, a manifestation of His grace and mercy.
As we see in the passages we read, break-though’s are about the body of Christ moving forward together, breaking through barriers of division, disunity, and discord. It's about the church rising up as a mighty army, advancing the kingdom of God on earth. This is for every believer who is willing to step out in faith and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
This anointing is a continual process of breaking through barriers and stepping into new levels of freedom, victory, and blessing. It's a journey of growth, transformation, and maturity in Christ. It's a lifestyle of faith, obedience, and surrender to the will of God. It's a journey, a journey that leads us closer to the heart of God.
