Luke 11:11 (Amplified Bible)

What father among you, if his son asks for a loaf of bread, will give him a stone; or if he asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent?

Luke 11:11 (King James Version)

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

A. The son asks the FATHER GOD

"If a son shall ask"

Isaiah 49:15 (Amplified Bible)

[And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you.

Matthew 7:9 (Amplified Bible)

Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?

The LORD JESUS provides for us on terms that we don't even know of, He provides even before we ask. The bible says the LORD JESUS CHRIST is our FATHER as well. It is one of the title of JESUS.

Isaiah 9:6 (Amplified Bible)

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.

His name is Everlasting FATHER, the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS is our EVERLASTING FATHER.

We wanted to reach out to the FATHER GOD, but the Way is not a woman, the Way is the MAN.

John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

1 Timothy 2:5 (Amplified Bible)

For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

There are no other way, there is ONLY 1 WAY - JESUS CHRIST to go to the FATHER, you need JESUS CHRIST, we need JESUS CHRIST to go to GOD. ACCEPT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST now as your LORD, MASTER and SAVIOR.

B. The FATHER GOD gives bread and fish never a snake

"bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?"

Loaf of bread symbolizes our daily bread, our consumption of daily food to get by on this wicked earth. The fish symbolizes our profession, our work here on earth, that is to harvest souls for the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Bread in the bible:

Matthew 4:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

And the tempter came and said to Him, If You are God’s Son, command these stones to be made [loaves of] bread.

But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.

Matthew 6:11 (Amplified Bible)

Give us this day our daily bread.

Fish in the bible:

Matthew 13:47-48 (Amplified Bible)

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet which was cast into the sea and gathered in fish of every sort.

When it was full, men dragged it up on the beach, and sat down and sorted out the good fish into baskets, but the worthless ones they threw away.

Matthew 4:19 (Amplified Bible)

And He said to them, Come after Me [as disciples—letting Me be your Guide], follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men!
