The Serpentine Spirit. Series

It is a manifestation of Satan's power and is characterized by its ability to deceive, manipulate, and destroy. In this, we will explore how the Serpentine Spirit attacks, its symptoms, and its effects on us according to the Bible. We will also discuss how to overcome and get delivered from its influence.

How it attacks:

1. Deception (Matthew 24:24): The Serpentine Spirit uses deception to lead us away from God's truth and into sin and destruction.

2. Manipulation (2 Corinthians 11:3): It manipulates our thoughts and emotions, causing us to doubt God's goodness and His plan for our lives.

3. Division (Matthew 12:25): The Serpentine Spirit seeks to divide us from God and from each other, causing strife and discord.

4. Fear and Anxiety (1 John 4:18): It uses fear and anxiety to paralyze us, making us unable to move forward in our lives.

Symptoms:

1. Confusion and Doubt (1 Corinthians 14:33): The Serpentine Spirit causes confusion and doubt, making it difficult for us to discern God's will.

2. Rebellion and Disobedience (1 Samuel 15:23): It leads us to rebel against God's commands and disobey His Word.

3. Pride and Arrogance (Proverbs 16:18): The Serpentine Spirit fills us with pride and arrogance, causing us to exalt ourselves above God.

4. Fear of Man (Proverbs 29:25): It causes us to fear man rather than God, leading us to compromise our faith.

Effects on us according to the Bible:

1. Spiritual Death (Genesis 2:17): The Serpentine Spirit leads us away from God's truth and into spiritual death.

2. Separation from God (Isaiah 59:2): It causes us to be separated from God, leading us to live in darkness and sin.

3. Destruction (Matthew 7:13-14): The Serpentine Spirit seeks to destroy our lives and our relationships with God and others.

Overcoming and getting delivered:

1. Recognize and Resist (James 4:7-8): Recognize the Serpentine Spirit's attacks and resist its influence in your life.

2. Seek God's Truth (John 8:32): Seek God's truth and His Word, which is the antidote to the Serpentine Spirit's deception.

3. Humble Yourself (1 Peter 5:6-7): Humble yourself before God, recognizing your need for His deliverance and protection.

4. Seek Deliverance (Matthew 17:21): Seek deliverance through prayer, fasting, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Serpentine Spirit is a real and present danger, seeking to destroy our lives and our relationships with God and others. However, through recognizing its attacks, seeking God's truth, humbling ourselves, and seeking deliverance, we can overcome its influence and live a victorious life in Christ.
