EPH 1:10-14 THE SEAL

I WANT US TO CONSIDER 3 SYMBOLISMS OF THE WORD SEAL IN THE SCRIPTURE.

What does the word seal symbolize in Gods word?

1st. It symbolizes a finished transaction.

1.last thing that’s done (a letter)

2.the ring on the prodical’s hand

Lk 15:22

3.when the president stamps it, it’s

law (finished)

2nd It symbolizes Ownership.

1.an ernest (a downpayment)

2.I’m coming back for you.//Jn 14:1

3.II tim 2:19 WE ARE HIS (sealed)

4.Bought (I Pet 1:19)

3rd It symbolizes security.

1. eternity (the ring with the seal had

no end)

2. Dan 6:17 (the king sealed it)

3. We are sealed (Jn 10:27-29

Recap… Who? God the Father

What? The Holy Spirit.

Why? For security. Ownership & to finish it.

When? When we believed.

How long? To the day of redemption.

What should we do? PRAISE HIM!

Walk worthy because we are his sons & not in order to be His sons/Col 1:10-14
