Ex 14:10-14

10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord.

11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. (KJV)

Has there ever been a time in your life that everywhere you turned there was a wall of trouble?

That's just what Moses is facing in this passage.

In the back of him, the Egyptians were charging with their chariots.

In front of him is the Red Sea.

Then in the middle, he is surrounded by a bunch of (Pentecostal church) people, I mean people, murmuring & complaining.

“Why did you take us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?” “We never said we wanted to leave Egypt.”

Most would have caved in to the pressure, but Moses didn't let this bother him. He didn't look at the walls. Rather, he was looking unto the hills from whence cometh his help. Moses knew what the Lord had spoken unto him. He knew that the Lord had promised salvation.

He spoke with authority & boldness...

When you come to this place in your life, Look Up! Remember that the Lord said...

Isa 59:19

19 ...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. (KJV)

Just stand still & see the salvation of the Lord! The Lord is gonna fight for you!

How many of you remember reading about King Jehoshaphat?

He's taking it easy, sitting in his easy chair. All of a sudden, someone runs in & tells him that a great multitude is coming to wage war against him. The first thing that hits him is FEAR. So, what does he do? He declares a fast throughout all Judah. They were all assembled together in one place, fasting, praying, & seeking the face of the Lord. Then this happens...

2 Chron 20:14-17

14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation;

15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. (KJV)

If you are a Born Again child of God, you're gonna hear all kinds of things. People are going to say all manner of things about you. A preacher once said, “When people say all kinds of things about you & you know that they're not true, you should rejoice & praise the Lord because you know that you're doing the Lord's will.”

Hear me Church! When you are doing the Lord's work, the enemy will stop at nothing to stop you, including using your own family.

Don't let any of this stop you from continuing in the work of the Lord!

It's important to remember that you will never gain anything through worry, so don't worry about it. It is not your battle, but the Lord's. He's gonna fight! You just go on doing what the Lord tells you to do.
