The Root Of Faith

Summary: Demonstration of the power of God after preaching Jesus, who He is and Him crucified provides a foundation for the faith of new converts and baby Christians
May the peace of the Lord be with you.
Topic: *THE ROOT OF FAITH*
1 Corinthians 2:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Beloved, it is not your eloquence or style or knowledge, wisdom and understanding that you have acquired in your line of academic study that makes you a good preacher or teacher or soul winner. No.
But, your ability to surrender to Precious Holy Spirit and allow Him to speak through you, manifest through you for the demonstration of the power of God and the stirring of the minds and hearts of your listners by Precious Holy Spirit for them to receive and accept Jesus.
Beloved, the core of our calling is to preach Jesus, who He His, what He came to do and has done for man and His plan or desire for man till He comes again. Beloved this should be the questions that the teaching or preaching of an Evangelist or a soul winner answers.
When we preach or teach messages like this, Precious Holy Spirit demonstrates the physical aspect through manifestation of the power of God and stirs the hearts and minds of our listeners.
When the power of God is seen working, new converts put their faith in this power. This is what is needed for the foundation of the faith of new converts.
Beloved, *ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Let us teach and preach in the simplest of languages and allow Precious Holy Spirit to demonstrate the power of God through us for the purpose of the Kingdom in Jesus name.
Prayer: Daddy please make me humble and keep me simple to deliver your Gospel in humility, with simple words and allow Precious Holy Spirit to manifest through me to demonstrate your power. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
