The Right Things To Do When Everything is Going Wrong
Num 21:16 And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spoke unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.
Num 21:17 Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:
Num 21:18 The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:
Num 21:19 And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:
Num 21:20 And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.
Num 21:21 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,
Num 21:22 Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king’s high way, until we be past thy borders.
Num 21:23 And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
Num 21:24 And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.
Num 21:25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
king Arad the Canaanite and his army just fought Israel and had taken many captive
they then set out on a journey and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way
they thought they were on the course to die in the wilderness no bread no water and they were tired of the bread of god
And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
And now the lord speaks to moses and he says get the people together and I will give thee water
How many people know that when we all get together that yokes are broken supernatural outpouring is released
Psa 133:1 A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Psa 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.
Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it
Thirsty hungry losing battle after battle ,yet they still kept a praise on their lips then it is told us to sing ye unto it
This has to do with our response to the well it literally means to answer it
It is not springing up yet?
It is not ironed out yet?
Don’t have the money yet?
Answer it. And we can answer with outr song because god said if we get together he would give us water w/ a song of joy I answer the dry wilderness ground
I answer the barren deasert spring up o well
For the lost loved one
For the wayward child
For the mistakes and guilt that wont go away
Sing Isa 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Why how but you don’t understand?
Isa 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
They might take away your house car job or dream but if god is your strength and song we still have something to sing about
Nehimiah 8:10 the joy of the lord is your strength or fortified place
The princes [those that are at the head the leaders] digged the well, the nobles [those with royal blood] of the people digged it
Those who are willing to give and sacrifice are the princes those who are not too good to give of themselves have royal blood in their vains.
They dug it with their staves or their support
Many of these men were men of age and the ground they walked on was rocky and had holes
They had valid reason not to dig they had reasons they they might break their own support and then where would they be?
God had a plan and has a plan for us he took them from there to mattanah which means a sacrificial offering
Then to Nahaliel which means strength of the almighty
Then to bamoth elevation
Then Israel took a whole nation for the glory of god
