The Purpose

Introduction:- Every creation has a purpose for which it is created. Men and Women who are created in the very image and likeness of the creator would definitely have a purpose for their life in this world. Unless we know the purpose of our life in this world we will be wasting all the precious time God is giving to all as a free gift.

To understand and fulfill the purpose for which we were created we have to understand the mindset of our creator. Let us get to understand God’s intention and purpose of creating us by going through the scriptures which alone can reveal the real intent of our creator.

DOMINION

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26 KJV

Is it not clear God clearly wanted us to have dominion over all things EXCEPT men and women who are in the image and likeness of the creator? Our loving Father created the environment which has to be ruled first, and then the ruler.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis 1:27 KJV

God created both male and female on the same day. But in chapter two we are given other story WHY?

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7 KJV

GOD CREATED BOTH MEN AND WOMEN AS SPIRITS FIRST IN HIS LIKENESS AND THEN HE CREATED THEM BY THE MATERIAL OVER WHICH THEY HAVE TO HAVE DOMINION.

The same way he created other animals also "And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so." Genesis 1:24 KJV

Again in Genersis Chapter two God again makes these creatures using sand and brings them to Adam for naming . Can you see the Love of GOD?

As God has authorized men and women to have dominion over earth He brings them to Adam for naming.

"The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men." Psalms 115:16 KJV

DUAL NATURE OF MAN

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7 KJV

God breathed into Adam’s nostrils and he became a living soul. God need not breath again into Eves nostrils since the matter by which she was created has already been a part of the living soul.

The Human species was provided with the Spirit of God and as his name suggests he is taken from the humus (dust)

Man has three components in him

SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY of which the soul can be understood as our thought process or mind, which serves as the communication link between the Spirit and the Body.

THE FALL

Man actually revolted against his own domain by heeding to the words of an unemployed, kicked out of the job alien, who was never given any authority or dominion in the earth by God the creator.

Man LOST

The relationship with the Creator since the Spirit could not reside in him because of Sin.

The authority given by God to him to rule over the earth his domain since the Spirit of

God the ruler could not remain in him because of SIN.

The environment (Eden) God had given to him for effortless living.

MAN SPIRITUALLY DIED

"Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken." Genesis 3:23 KJV

See how God sees man after the fall. The ground from whence he was taken.

THE RESTORATION

JESUS came to restore all those things from where men fall or lost.

"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10

See, Jesus wants to restore all that men has lost by revolting against the word of God by disobedience.

Jesus came to restore all that includes our dominion, relationship and environment

As we are created to have dominion over earth, we were given the power to choose. Do we still choose to remain without dominating over our circumstances and environment? Or willing to choose to come out of the slavery by satan?

The choice is yours. Jesus while walking over this earth had full dominion over the earth and he wants us his children to enjoy the same power.
