Youth Sermon: The Promise of Goodness

Object Lesson: Puzzle

See this puzzle? It's incomplete, right? But what if I told you that the missing piece is right here in my pocket? It's like our lives. Sometimes, we feel like we're missing something, but God's got that missing piece. He's working everything out for our good.

Sometimes, we feel like we're missing something, but God's got that missing piece. He's working everything out for our good.

God's Goodness in Tough Times

Sometimes it's tough to believe that God is working for our good. But His idea of "good" might be different from ours. He uses everything, even the tough stuff, to bring about His plans and glory.

God's goodness might involve some tough times if it leads to someone's salvation. We gotta trust that God is working for good, even when it's not immediately obvious.

God's Goodness in Our Families

God's also got our backs in our families. Even when family members hurt us or let us down, God can still use it for good.

Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, but God used it to save many lives. Even when our families hurt us, God can still work for good.

God's Goodness in Our Jobs

God's also got our backs in our jobs. Sometimes we may lose a job or face challenges, but we gotta remember how God has been faithful in the past.

In times of uncertainty, we gotta remember what God has done before. He won't waste anything and will provide for us.

God's Goodness in Our Churches

Lastly, God's got our backs in our churches. The devil may try to distract us or twist God's truth, but we can trust in God's promise of abundant life.

The devil may try to mess with our churches, but God's power is greater. We can expect God's goodness in our churches and trust in His plans.

Invitation and Prayer

Let's invite God into our lives and open our hearts to His goodness. He can use every tough time for our good and His glory, just like He did in Joseph's life.

This week, when you face a tough situation, remember the puzzle. God's got that missing piece. He's working it all out for your good.

God, fill our church with Your goodness, grace, and mercy. Strengthen and encourage those facing tough times. Help us live an abundant life, knowing that You won't waste anything in our lives. In Jesus' name, amen.
