Summary: Daniel gives a beautiful illustration of thanksgiving for answered prayer. Do you pause to give God thanks?

Ten lepers Luke 17:17-18, “So Jesus answered

and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where

are the nine? Were there not any found who returned

to give glory to God except this foreigner?”

We should be careful to give thanks to God; He is

powerful to answer prayer!

him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and

without reproach, and it will be given to him”

B. Light (truth, knowledge) is with Him

All of these are demonstrated in Daniel’s personal thanks: (Verse 23)

Intellectual Power

2. “You have made known” (2X) –

Illuminative Power

3. “You have made known” (2X)

“You have given” – Inclusive Power

4. “the king’s demand” – Independent Power
