But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins and remit the penalty, He then said to the paralyzed man, Get up! Pick up your sleeping pad and go to your own house.

And he got up and went away to his own house.

When the crowds saw it, they were struck with fear and awe; and they recognized God and praised and thanked Him, Who had given such power and authority to men.

The Power of the LORD is Great. No one can deny it. Even GOD's enemies will attest to it.

Matthew 8:29 (Amplified Bible)

And behold, they shrieked and screamed, What have You to do with us, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come to torment us before the appointed time?

Even the disciples attested to it.

Matthew 14:33 (Amplified Bible)

And those in the boat knelt and worshiped Him, saying, Truly You are the Son of God!

Because the Power of GOD is JESUS Himself.

"according as thou hast spoken, saying,"

Micah 3:8 (Amplified Bible)

But truly I [Micah] am full of power, of the Spirit of the Lord, and of justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.

Never under-esttimate the power of the written WORD of GOD. It's the same weapon that the LORD JESUS has used to defeat the enemy.

Matthew 4:4 (Amplified Bible)

But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.

All GOD's Promises are Yes in CHRIST JESUS, therefore JESUS is the fulfillment of all GOD's Promises to us.

2 Corinthians 1:20 (Amplified Bible)

For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.
