The Power Of Life

1. We are called to give life

John 10:10 - The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

2. We need to see in the Spirit

Ezekiel 11:1 - Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the East Gate of the LORD's house, which faces eastward; and there at the door of the gate were twenty-five men, among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. And He said to me: "Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and give wicked counsel in this city.

The devil sends people to hurt and deceive God’s people. We need to be able to see in the Spirit if we are to be effective. Ezekiel saw the evil plans of Palatiah in the Spirit. We do not always know what is going on behind the scenes, but the Spirit can take us there. God will expose people and name them.

If we are to represent life to others we must have a:

- Spirit eye

- Heart for people

- Heart for God’s house

- Heart for the nations

3. Life proceeds from the mouth

Ezekiel 11:4-5 - Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man!" Then the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said to me, "Speak!

What we see in the Spirit we can deal with and send words with our mouths. We will know what to say if we know what is going on.

4. We can release fear upon the enemy

Ezekiel 11:8 - You have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you," says the Lord GOD.

We can bring their own fear upon them.

5. Death can bring life

Ezekiel 11:13 - Now it happened, while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell on my face and cried with a loud voice, and said, "Ah, Lord GOD! Will You make a complete end of the remnant of Israel?"

There are people and things that Satan uses to bring death. We can bring death to those things so that we can release life and defeat the enemy’s plans.

6. Life can be sent

Psalm 107:20 - He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.

Psalm 64:7 – But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly they shall be wounded.

We are armed and dangerous. Just as the enemy shoots arrows at us, we can do the same and wound his plans.

7. Life is released when we are passionate

2 Kings 13:14-19 - ……And he said to the king of Israel, "Strike the ground"; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, "You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times."

8. Life is for all peoples

When we speak, we can cancel death over the nations. We can speak life and salvation to the unsaved. The Spirit-filled life is about loving people.

Ezekiel 11:16 - "I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel."

9. Give life by giving your life

2 Corinthians 4:7 - But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

Do not live below your potential. Give everything you have to the Lord and allow Him to use you supernaturally.
