Summary: There is always hope as long as we are alive. The gates to both life and hell are open continuously, allowing for the possibility to transition from one to the other at any given time.

Matthew 7:13-14

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow, and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”

Regardless of how far one may have strayed into despair, there is always the opportunity to come out and enter into a better life. This chance is available to everyone, ensuring that no one can claim to have been denied an opportunity for a fulfilling life.

The narrow gate to life is personal and individual, requiring deliberate focus, intentionality, resilience, and patience. It demands that we let go of emotional baggage such as unforgiveness and malice, but the reward is inner peace. On the other hand, the broad gate to hell is inclusive but leads to chaos and despair, affecting homes, families, society, and individuals alike. It's easy to desire positive outcomes without putting in the necessary effort, whether it's seeking a peaceful marriage, progress, or simply showing restraint in the face of provocation. However, it is this effort and resistance that ultimately lead to peace.

God's kingdom promises righteousness, peace, and joy on earth. By examining the fruit of our actions, we can determine whether we are aligned with this kingdom. Consider which areas of your life might currently resemble hell – perhaps in finances, health, or relationships. Many people find themselves in financial distress, accumulating debt by succumbing to the allure of immediate gratification. Achieving financial freedom requires discipline, planning, and living within means.

Similarly, prioritising active eating, diet, and exercise can prevent lifestyle diseases and promote better health.

It's crucial to nourish our minds with positive and healthy materials, while also avoiding toxic friendships.

When it comes to sexual health, seeking long-term satisfaction through healthy sexual experiences within a committed relationship can be far more rewarding than pursuing short-term thrills that may only lead to further challenges.

Ultimately, by making mindful choices and putting in the effort in various aspects of our lives, we can strive to move from despair to fulfilment, from chaos to peace, and from hell to a life aligned with God's kingdom.

I pray that as you read this article, it resonates with you. May God strengthen you in your inner man with the power to make the right choices to lead to your desired outcome in Jesus' name.
