The Overcomer; 5 Tools of The Overcomer.

Text: 1 John 4:4 'Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. '

It is written, You have overcome. In the name of JESUS, concerning you, The LORD today will turn every defeat to victory.

Challenges, trouble, adversity, adversaries, enemies, fights, battles, wars, demons, satan, sickness, death. These words represent some unpleasant things we face in our sojourn on earth. Whether they are entirely satan sponsored, or are stepping stones for our lifting, you have overcome them! you are fighting a scripted war! JESUS your captain, has overcome already for you. All you do have to do is keep standing, keep holding your weapons, keep fighting till your victory is established.

GOD has made some very powerful tools available to establish our victory. We will examine five of them.

1. The indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT : 1 John 4:4 'Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. '

Because you carry the most High GOD, you cannot loose. When you stand against satan and His host, they will flee seven ways, Deuteronomy 28:7 'The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. ' Take note, it is The LORD who shall cause .

Seek the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT . Seek to keep his temple pure so that He will remain, and you will ever overcome.

2. The Love Of GOD: Romans 8:37 'Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. '. The love package of our GOD includes making sure we never loose, always overcoming. 1 Corinthians 15:57 'But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. '

Because GOD loves us exceedingly, even while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us, Romans 5:8; because nothing can separate us from the love of GOD in CHRIST, Romans 8:38-39; then you can be assured of victory.

It would be wise though, to fan the fire of GOD’s love, by reciprocating, by loving Him back. How by keeping / obeying His commandments. John 14:15 ' If ye love me, keep my commandments. '

3. The Blood Of JESUS: Revelations 12:7-12, 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

When satan, the chief of our adversaries warred against the host of GOD in heaven, the bible says they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, JESUS.

In Exodus 12:23, when the destroyer was moving about the land of Egypt to kill firstborns, GOD said when He sees the blood of The lamb slain, He will not allow the destroyer to come in.

The blood of JESUS is still as effective today as it was over 2000 years ago when JESUS shed iton the cross at Calvary. It is still even as effective as when it was shed by the lamb, slain before the foundation of the world. Revelations 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Prayer: Deuteronomy 32:30, one of us shall chase a thousand, and two of us shall chase ten thousand. We will combine and pray in unity as a team, remember, no I in team.

• In the name of JESUS, we come against all our adversaries by the blood of JESUS. We overcome all our enemies today by the blood of JESUS.

• In the name of JESUS, by the blood of JESUS, let every destruction, devourers, calamities… pass over our homes, let them not come close to our families.

4. The Word Of GOD: Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
