I just want to go on record as saying again; these 4 weeks have not been a Muslim bashing with hate. But rather it’s been an Islamic exposing with truth.

Last week we covered some good ground in order to search out the facts about Islam.

Just think for moment in review of last week…Jesus raised the dead and Mohammad killed the living. Jesus healed the sick and Mohammad harmed the healthy. Jesus released the oppressed and Mohammad enslaved the free! And it’s still happening today somewhere around the world!

10. We Must Uncase The Facts About The Name “Allah”.

Why is this so important? Because Muslims want everyone to know that Allah is the same god as Christianity! And that it has Biblical origins. It’s been a line of deception that has been fed to the world for years now and if Islam continues to feed it - enough people (including Christians) will bite!

By now it should not surprise you that the name “Allah” is something thought up by cults in the Arabia religious culture. The reason Muhammad never had to try to explain who Allah was in the Quran is because were well aware of the name long before Mohammad’s day!

Dr. Arthur Jeffrey, one of the most respected Western Islamic scholars and teaches Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University, says in his book “Islam: Mohammad and His Religion”, “The name Allah, as the Quran itself is witness, was well known in pre-Islamic Arabia. Indeed, both it and it feminine form, “Allat” are found frequently among theophorous names in inscriptions from North Africa.”

So let’s break down this word. The word “Allah” comes from combining two Arabic words.

“al” = is the definite article “the”.

“lah” = is the Arabic word for “god”.

Key: Allah is purely an Arabic term for an Arabian deity. There is no evidence that it is a Hebrew or Greek word for God.

Hastings’s Encyclopedia of religion and ethics states, “Allah is a proper name applicable only to their (Arabs) peculiar God.”

Gibb’s Encyclopedia of Islam states, “Allah was known to pre-Islamic Arabs; he was one of the Meccan deities.”

Dr. Kenneth Cragg, former editor of the prestigious scholarly journal “Muslim World” states, “The name Allah is also evident in archeological and literary remains of pre-Islamic Arabia.”

Caesar Farah in his book “Islam: Beliefs and Observations”, says, “There is no reason, therefore, to accept the idea that Allah passed to the Muslims from the Christians and Jews.”

Fact: In Arabia during Mohammad’s day, the sun was a female god and the moon was a male god. And the moon god was given various names including Allah.

The sun god and moon god were married and they then produced 3 daughters called “The daughters of Allah”. Their names: Al-Lat, Al-Uzza andManat. In Mohammad’s pagan background these goddess were considered lesser god - that is, they were not at the top of the pantheon of Arabian deities!

To drive the last nail into this coffin, Norman Geisler states in his book “Answering Islam” states, “The fact that Muhammad’s own father bore the name “Adb-Allah” (slave to god) would indicate that this god was known by that name prior to Islam.”

Side Note: Compare this concept of God to what is taught in Mormonism. Their god has sexual relations and if we live a good enough life here on earth we can go to our own planet as gods and begin to populate it. Doesn’t that just give you a pain you can’t quit locate?

I rest my case that Christians do not worship the same God. If we did, then God can’t even get his name straight!

11. We Must Unpack The Abraham and Ishmael Myth.

The statement that Muslims are a descendent of Abraham through his son Ishmael is a suitcase of lies, bad history and false tradition! And that God gave the land of Israel to Arabs.

Most respected experts on this subject reject this completely! Even the “Dictionary of Islam” questions this claim!

a. Abraham never went to Mecca.

According to Muslim tradition, Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba, the cube-like structure in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca. But outside these traditions there is absolutely no evidence for this claim - whether archaeological or documentary.

Ibn Warraq (Muslim turned atheist) in his book “Why I Am Not A Muslim Indeed”, he states that the historian Snouck Hurgronje has shown that Muhammad invented the story to give his religion an Arabian origin and setting; with this brilliant improvisation Muhammad established the independence of his religion, at the same time incorporating into Islam for the Arabs.

Montgomery Watt a Middle East Historian states,

“It is virtually certain that Abraham never reached Mecca. The essential point...is that, where objective fact has been established by sound historical methods, it must be accepted.”
