Summary: God is not confined to our three dimensions of space and single dimension of time.

The divine attributes of God give Him supreme power over all things and unlimited knowledge of all truth in every potential situation, whether before the beginning, in between, or at the end, under all possible interpretations of any component in any dimension. He knows everything that will or does happen. Human beings cannot hide from Him.

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” (Psalm 139:7-10 NIV)

GOD IS SPIRIT

God is an eternal, perfect, and unchangeable invisible, incorporeal spirit being and is NOT matter. He has always existed and transcends time and space. He is present everywhere, but He is not IN matter. He is not the sun, moon, stars, nor an image of wood, stone, or metal; nor a beast or man. He is not the air, the wind, a universal mind, human love, or some impersonal quality (see John 4:24). God has revealed Himself uniquely as one God in three separate persons: God, the Father, God, the Son – Jesus Christ, and God, the Holy Spirit.

GOD IS IMMUTABLE

He said of Himself, “I am the Lord God. I change not” (Malachi 3:6 KJV). He is unchangeable and is worthy of being trusted. He will never fail or change His love, power, or wisdom. He will always be as He always has been and will always be there for those who love Him (See Ex 3:14; Num 23:19-20; 1 Sa 15:29; Job 23:13; Ps 33:11; 119:89-91; Pro 19:21; Eke 3:14; 7:13; Isa 31:2; Heb 6:17-18; Heb 13:8; James 1:17).

God will not be shaped into any human-made image, idea, or likeness to make people feel good about Him. He is as He has always been – the Lord God of ALL creation! He is the great “I am,” not the “I was” or the “I will be.”

GOD IS OMNIPOTENT

God is all-powerful over all things, times, and in all ways. He said, "Let there be…" and it was (Genesis 1:3,6,9). God spoke, and by the power of His word, everything was created from nothing (Also Psalm 33:6). Nothing is impossible or too difficult for Him because He has an infinite ability to meet every need. He promised to enter into every circumstance to work it out for the best for every Christian (see Luke 1:37; Romans 8:28).

"I know that you can do all things and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted." (Job 42:2 ESV)

"And the LORD said to Moses, "Is the LORD's hand shortened? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not." (Numbers 11:23 ESV).

God's power is seen in the preservation of His creation. All life on earth would perish were it not for His continual provision of everything we need for food, clothing, and shelter, all from renewable resources sustained by His power as the preserver of man and beast (Psalm 36:6). God does everything that is in harmony with His Holy character (Numbers 23:19; Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18).

GOD IS OMNIPRESENT

God is intimately and infinitely present concerning every part of creation - past, present, and future. He does not travel through time because there is no time as humans are capable of understanding it in Him. (See Psalm 139:7-10). He is not some universal mind or consciousness that fills space and matter. He is omnipresent and not confined to three dimensions of space and one dimension of time. He can be in more than one place at a time.

God is able to act everywhere because He knows all things. He has access to all places and all secrets because He is the Infinite Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe, intrinsic in His works and transcendent above them (Psalms 139).

God simultaneously dwells in a plurality of sanctuaries; in Heaven, on Earth, the Ark, Tabernacle, Mt. Zion, Temple, Holy Land, in Jesus, in the Church, in the assembly of His people, and in Heaven (Genesis 11:1-9; 18:1-33, 19:24; 21:17; 22:11; 28:12, 32:24-30; Exodus 24:11; 33:11-33, 10:35; 2 Samuel 6:2; 1 Kings 8:26-53; 2 Kings 19:15; Joshua 5:13-15; Judges 6:11-23; 13:3-25; 1 Chronicles 21:16-17; Job 42:5; Isaiah 6; Ezekiel 1:26-28; 10:1,20; 40:3; Daniel 7:9-14,10:5-10; Psalm 2:4, 3:4,11:4,20:2-6,26:8,33:13, 46:5,48:2,99:1:4,104:3; Isaiah 6:1,8:18,63:15,66:1; Joel 3:16,21; Amos 1:2, 9:6; 1 Samuel 26:19; Hosea 9:3; Matthew 5:34, 6:9; John 1:14; 2:19, 14:23; Acts 7:48,56-59; 17:28; Colossians 2:9; Romans 8:9,11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; Ephesians 1:20, 2:21,22; 3:11; 2 Timothy 3:15; Hebrews 1:3,10:21; 1 Peter 2:5; Revelation 4:2-5; 5:1,5-7,11-14; 6:16; 7:9-17; 19:4; 21:3-5; 22:4).
