VII. EXPLICATION:

A. Author: Apostle Matthew

B. Keyword: Fulfilled

VIII. MAIN BODY:

Matthew 15:11 (Amplified Bible)

It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiled, but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles [him].

Matthew 15:11 (King James Version)

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

A. Not those that come inside the mouth of man makes him unclean

"It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiled,"

1 Timothy 4:4 (Amplified Bible)

For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving.

Titus 1:15 (Amplified Bible)

To the pure [in heart and conscience] all things are pure, but to the defiled and corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are defiled and polluted.

Hebrews 13:9 (Amplified Bible)

Do not be carried about by different and varied and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and ennobled and strengthened by means of grace (God’s favor and spiritual blessing) and not [to be devoted to] foods [rules of diet and ritualistic meals], which bring no [spiritual] benefit or profit to those who observe them.

Food comes inside a man, others are vitamins, medicines, anything that is taken in by the mouth will never make a man unclean.

Defiles or "koinoo" in Greek meaning: to make or consider, profane, call common, defile, pollute, unclean. Hypocrites and self-righteous people will not blame their mouths but they will blame the foods and others but not their own mouth.

B. But those that comes out from the mouth make a man unclean

"but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles [him]"

James 3:5-8 (Amplified Bible)

Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things. See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze!

And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man’s nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna).

For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea animal, can be tamed and has been tamed by human genius (nature).

But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.

2 Peter 2:18 (Amplified Bible)

For uttering loud boasts of folly, they beguile and lure with lustful desires of the flesh those who are barely escaping from them who are wrongdoers.

Romans 3:13-14 (Amplified Bible)

Their throat is a yawning grave; they use their tongues to deceive (to mislead and to deal treacherously). The venom of asps is beneath their lips.
