The Model Prayer?

Summary: A look into the intent of Jesus in the prayer He gives His disciples in Matthew 6:9-13.
3. I Peter 4:2
CONCLUSION: I do not believe that Jesus ever intended to give His followers a
structured pattern for their prayers. That would be a contradiction to his previous statements in Matthew 6:5-8. Instead I am convinced that He wanted God’s people to focus on their dependence upon God in every facet of life.
