II. Deception (verses 4-5)
A. Twisted God’s Word
1. False apostles
2. False gospels
3. False religions
4. 2 Cor. 11:3, “But I fear, lest somehow, as
the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness,
so your minds may be corrupted from the
simplicity that is in Christ”
5. 2 Cor. 11:14, “For Satan himself transforms
himself into an angel of light”
B. 2 Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the god of this world hath
blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the
light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image
of God, should shine unto them”
