The Miracle of Death

We often call it a miracle when we witness the Birth of a baby, and correctly so for surely God is the giver of all life, and we do know that every good and perfect gift comes from HIM!

Yes, the miraculous birth of Bille J Gaston to his parents Wille and Lillie Gaston surely must have felt like they personally experienced a miracle from God when they looked into his eyes and saw the gift they had received from GOD.

Who is there among us that can deny the wonder working power of GOD as a baby takes it first breath?

I submit to you my friends, that the same GOD who works miracles in life also is able to work miracles in death.

It’s a sad life, to live your whole life and never have a personal relationship with GOD! Thank God that Deacon Gaston had a long, long relationship with Him, and that he lived a life of service to GOD, his family, and his church.

Because he lived a life of faith in GOD, he was able to experience supernatural miracles in death. He was able to have promises that are not given to the unbeliever , but are reserved for those who have a relationship with Jesus Christ!

Now, I would submit to you, that the greatest miracle in life is to know God through his Son Jesus Christ. It’s a sad life to accumulate money, material things, friends, even family and not have a relationship with our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

We can celebrate today, even in the midst of our tears and fears because Deacon Gaston has experienced the miracle of death. He has been victorious over death, because of the Promises given by the Son of the living GOD!

1 Corinthians 15:55-57 New Living Translation (NLT)

55 O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your sting?[a]”

56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

That’s a Miracle!

Victory over death!

Praise God Almighty!

We come to celebrate because we do not grieve as the unbeliever, but we celebrate knowing that GOD is faithful and just to keep his Soul and deliver him from an eternal Hell!

We can shout hallelujah because we know that The Son of God is able to present him faultless before an eternal and all wise GOD!

Jude 24-25 (KJV)

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

To have the promise that the Savior of the world, is able and willing to present you!

What a miracle!

Kept from falling! What a miracle!

Presented faultless!

What ever he had wrong with him down here it been covered and corrected by the blood of the lamb!

All mistakes!

All Short comings!

All Errors!

All sins!

Everything you or I could possibly find fault in , Jesus has fixed it, cover him with his precious blood and presented him faultless!

In the presence of God almighty!

And he did it with great joy!

What a wonderful, wonderful Miracle!

Billie knew he had some short comings!

He knew that in spite of how hard he tried , he still missed the mark!

He failed trying on his own!

No matter how hard he tried he could not please everyone!

He had some haters!

He had some people who misunderstood him!

But thanks be to GOD he had a savior who died for him and forgave all his sins!

Everyone of them.. big,,, little… medium

He forgave them all!

What a miracle!

He committed sins

He fell short!

But Jesus Christ the Son of GOD loved him enough to die for him so he could enjoy the miracle of everlasting life!

What a miracle!

It was all in GOD’s divine plan!

Before he was ever formed in his mothers womb! God had a plan for him!

He had a plan for good and not evil!

He had a plan for his future and a hope that goes far beyond this life! How do we know this?

.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

What a miracle to have a life with a plan that goes far beyond death! Life is short, it’s a terrible thing to live a short life and not have a plan after death!
