Isaiah 59:1-3 The Lords Hand Is Not Shortened

1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened , that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

1. IT TRANSFORMS THE DISEASED

Matthew 8:1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand , and touched him , saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

i. His Touch Is :- A Personnal Touch

3 And Jesus put forth his hand , and touched him

ii. A Powerful Touch - 3 And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

iii. A Pivotal Touch - Matt 8:14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand , and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

2. IT TRANSFORMS THE DEAF

Mark 7:32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him. 33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears , and he spit, and touched his tongue ; 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. 35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

i. we meet the man ... unable to speak.

ii. he becomes ... enabled to speak - 35and he spake plain.

iii. He is ... unable not to speak. 36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

3. IT TRANSFORMS THE DARKENED - Matt 9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes , saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it .

4. IT TRANSFORMS THE DEAD -

LUKE 8:49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house , saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. ...... 54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand , and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. 56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

5. IT TRANSFORMS THE DEFILED - ISAIAH 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips ; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged

6. IT TRANSFORMS THE DEFEATED - IT will set us free

Act 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken : and immediately all the doors were opened , and every one's bands were loosed.
