VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. A very little while
"For still a little while (a very little while),"
Little or "mikron" in Greek meaning: small, little.
While or "hosos" in Greek meaning "as great as, as far as, how much, how many, whoever"
Isaiah 26:20 (Amplified Bible)
26:20 Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the [Lord’s] wrath is past.
Habakkuk 2:3-4 (Amplified Bible)
2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.
2:4 Look at the proud; his soul is not straight or right within him, but the [rigidly] just and the [uncompromisingly] righteous man shall live by his faith and in his faithfulness.
Luke 18:8 (Amplified Bible)
18:8 I tell you, He will defend and protect and avenge them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [persistence in] faith on the earth?
GOD's timing respects no other time for He's the Creator of time, so this time is not relative but absolute.
2 Peter 3:8 (Amplified Bible)
3:8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.
B. The LORD will come and will not delay
"and the Coming One will come and He will not delay"
Revelation 22:20 (Amplified Bible)
22:20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
James 5:7-9 (Amplified Bible)
5:7 So be patient, brethren, [as you wait] till the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land. [See how] he keeps up his patient [vigil] over it until it receives the early and late rains.
5:8 So you also must be patient. Establish your hearts [strengthen and confirm them in the final certainty], for the coming of the Lord is very near.
5:9 Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you [yourselves] may not be judged. Look! The Judge is [already] standing at the very door.
CHRIST will come, it's sure only GOD, the FATHER knows but He will come soon.
Mark 13:32 (Amplified Bible)
13:32 But of that day or that hour not a [single] person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Since our LORD is always submissive to the FATHER, He allowed the responsibility of knowing these times to the FATHER.
So in this world, they advertised "Mother knows best" but in the Bible it says "The FATHER knows best!"
IX. CONCLUSION:
Praise and thank You very much LORD JESUS, for You are comforting me in Your guaranteed soon return, even so LORD JESUS come quickly.
Revelation 22:20 (Amplified Bible)
22:20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
