Who is the One that covers us from dangers and from destruction because of our sins?
The LORD JESUS.
Exodus 26:34 (Amplified Bible)
And you shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy Place.
Hebrews 9:5 (Amplified Bible)
Above [the ark] and overshadowing the mercy seat were the representations of the cherubim [winged creatures which were the symbols] of glory. We cannot now go into detail about these things.

V. THESIS:
Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You are my Atoning Sacrifice, my MercySeat, My Propitiation all rolled into One, the Atonement that covers all my sins and covers me from all dangers and enemies.
1 John 2:2 (Amplified Bible)
And He [that same Jesus Himself] is the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins, and not for ours alone but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
Hebrews 2:17 (Amplified Bible)
So it is evident that it was essential that He be made like His brethren in every respect, in order that He might become a merciful (sympathetic) and faithful High Priest in the things related to God, to make atonement and propitiation for the people’s sins.

Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).
The LORD is offered and we are also offered moment by moment we are reminded that we are living sacrifice before the LORD.
