Psalms 23:1-3

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.

3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

Pray that the LORD will be my Shepherd to provide and guide me in His Ways, finally giving glory to His Name.

A. Highlights:

1. Only the LORD is my Shepherd. (Isaiah 40:11) - the LORD is my Shepherd

Isaiah 40:11

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.

2. I have everything I need

a. Overflowing blessings (Psalms 23:5)

Psalms 23:5

You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

b. Treasures of goodness (Psalms 31:19)

Psalms 31:19

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him!

God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect.
