The Longsuffering Of God

Summary: An examination of God's longsuffering, which both comforts and motivates us.
3) If we deny its existence we may conclude that there is no hope for us.
III) God’s longsuffering will end.
A) It did in the days of Noah
1) 1 Peter 3:20
2) Genesis 6:3a & 7a “And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh…” “So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth…”
B) It will end for us as well (2 Peter 3:10)
Conclusion: Realizing that God’s longsuffering will not last forever, what kind of person should you be….NOW??? (2 Peter 3:11)
