The Letter Has Nothing On You

Romans 7:1-6 King James Version (KJV)

7 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Beloved, we find it too difficult living under grace. Living by the promptings of Precious Holy Spirit. We find it difficult accepting that, we are dead to the law but resurrected in Christ Jesus and are supposed to live not by any letter or regulations or rules or codes written to be followed but by grace in Jesus Christ.

Living by grace in Jesus Christ is simply living by the promptings of Precious Holy Spirit. So you don't just move or act but you do so according to directions received from Precious Holy Spirit.

Beloved you can't serve two masters at the same time or be married to two men at the same time, you will hate one and love the other, or you will do the will of one and not satisfy the other. This could be out of fear or love or lack of knowledge and understanding and lack of wisdom.

You can't live by grace and the law side by side. You are either holding one in a higher esteem than the other or satisfying one the more.

Beloved if you are a saved Christian, leave the law alone and live by grace your new found love and husband. The dead and living have nothing in common. They belong to two different worlds. Let law live in his world and you also live in the new world with grace.

Why do you keep going back to an oppressor who boxes you in and all you can produce under his watch is sin and death when you have one who is full of love and you keep on producing love and eternal life with him?

Beloved, Jesus who is Grace, fulfilled the Law and swallowed the law, that is He ended the reign of the law and took it down into the grave, and Jesus who is Grace resurrected and gave us His resurrected life which is full of His Grace to live by.

In our new life with grace, there is no law any where. Let the promptings of Precious Holy Spirit lead you in all things.

Beloved *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Just follow Him and Him alone, don't look anywhere else and you'll see His glory.

Prayer: Daddy, make me sensitive to the promptings of Precious Holy Spirit so that I live by grace and grace alone, that I will do away with the letter forever. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
