Acts 19 v 8 - 12 The kingdom of God

The Man - 8 And he

The Method - went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things

The Message - concerning the kingdom of God.

The Mischief - 9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

The Motivation - 10 And this continued by the space of two years;

The Mission - so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

The Miracles - 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul 12 so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

The Kingdom of God -

It's Path -

The kingdom is God’s reign through God’s people over God’s place.

Matthew speaks of the Rule of men -

Matthew 10:6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mark speaks of the Repentance by men -

Mark 6:12 And they went out and preached that men should repent.

Luke speaks of the Responsibility of men -

Luke 9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. ... 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

John speaks of the Rejoicing for men -

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

The message is not a Social Gospel, but has to do with the Soul of man,

the Sin of man, the Saviour of man, and the Salvation of man.

It's Priority - Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God,

and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

First in Time, First in Toil, First in Toll, First in Trouble.

It's Purity - John 3:3 Jesus answered Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The New Birth - It's Need, It's Nature, It's Neglect.

Mark 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

It's Poverty -

Those Brought - Mark 10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them:

Those Taught - and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased and said unto them Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not:

for of such is the kingdom of God.

Those Sought - 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

It's Parity - Luke 7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist:

but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

It's Price - Acts 14:21 they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, 22 confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

It's Proclamation - Luke 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

It's Persistence - Luke 9:62 & Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God

I’m going through, yes, I’m going through;

It's Perfection -

The Exclusive - 1 Cors 6:9 Know ye not that

The Exclusion - the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

The Excluded - Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind

10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers

nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

It's Permanence -

The Son - Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith,

The Sovereign - Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever:

The Salvation - a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom

It's Provocation -

The Doubters -9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not,

The Deniers - but spake evil of that way before the multitude,
