Why the Blood is so Important...

I. WITHOUT THE BLOOD, NO REDEMPTION

(This deals with our Purchase)

A. The World's greatest sellout. (Adam sold us out to sin..)

B. The World's greatest slavemaster (Satan)

C. The World's greatest Saviour...(The Lord Jesus...)

II. WITHOUT THE BLOOD. NO REMISSION

(This deals with our Past)

A. Sins are Forgiven... Hebs 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

B. Sins are Forgotten... Heb 10:17 their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

C. Sins are Forever Gone... John 1:29; Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

III. WITHOUT THE BLOOD, NO RECONCILIATION (This deals with our Peace)

Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself;

A. The Offended is Satisfied... Col 1:20-22

B. The Offender is Justified... Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

C. The Offense is nullified... 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

IV. WITHOUT THE BLOOD, NO REUNION Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
