THE I AM,S OF PAUL IN ROMANS

Romans 1: 14:14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

14:15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

The positive assurance of Paul should serve as a guide for confidence is Lord . The real joy comes Knowing.

1. I am a debtor

Romans 1: 1:14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

Blessed of the Lord in my forgiveness

Bound ,obligated to tell others because of faith

Bought by the deeds of another in order to be free

2. I am ready

Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Willingness, eagerness –not picky, not fussy

Waiting – standing in line for your turn of labor

Wherever and whatever God has for me –I want it

3.I am not ashamed

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I am not ashamed for it to be known I am saved

I am not ashamed of where I go

I am not ashamed of my actions

4I am Persuaded

Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

My heart was changed by his love

I am happy with the love of Christ

I am honored with my call

5. I am the Apostle

Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

I am saved by his person

I am secured by his power

I am sent to preach

6.I am sure

Romans 15:29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

I am positive he is my saviour

I am please to be his servant

I am a partaker of his suffering

7. I am glad

Romans 16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

I rejoice in my salvation

I am rooted in his scriptures

I will be rewarded by my Lord
