Psalm 24 The Hill of the Lord I. OUR WELFARE (1-3) seen in :- (a) His Creation - The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; (b) His Care - the world, and they that dwell therein. (Redemption) 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (c) His Control -2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods II. OUR WORSHIP: (4-5) (a) Our Work - 4 He that hath clean hands, (b) Our Will - 4 and a pure heart; (c) Our Worship - 4 who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, (d) Our Words - 4 "nor sworn deceitfully" III. OUR WEALTH: (6-7) There is a :- (a) Seeking - This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. (b) Surrendering - 7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; (c) Serving - and the King of glory shall come in. IV. OUR WARFARE: - 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. (a) The Lord Comes to the Battle - 7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; (b) The Lord Controls the Battle - 7 and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, (c) The Lord Conquers in the Battle - 8 the LORD mighty in battle. V. OUR WALK: (9-10). (a) The Revelation of The Lord - 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. (b) The Reception of The Lord - 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. (c) The Recognition of The Lord - 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
