THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL

(Luke 10:30-37)

INTRODUCTION

Greatest - Highest. Extreme. Alexander the Great.

I. THIEF – What is yours, I will get it. These are the People who are envious. They will do whatever happens just to get it. By hook or by crook. They are the people who are not satisfied with what they have. Kleptomania. V. 30, “…fell among thieves which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead…” This is not Love this is ENVY. COVETOUSNESS. GREED. MATERIALISM.

a. Deeds of the Flesh. Galatians 5:19-21.

b. Exodus 20:17. Ten Commandments.

c. James 3:14-16. Not from above.

d. I Corinthians 13:4. Love is not Envious.

II. INDIFFERENT PEOPLE (LEVITE/PRIEST) – I will not share what I have. What I have is for myself only. Selfish People. Sometimes we are like them. v. 31 & 32, “…he passed by the other side…”;

a. We don’t share our blessing. Sharing is not only by telling that you have a blessing but you literally share, as in Physical. Share It. Not only CP can Share. Or documents, Pictures etc.

b. We should not become selfish especially to the Household of Faith. The Church.

c. We don’t share the Gospel. We become indifferent to other people’s salvation.

d. We should support the soulwinning, mission giving.

e. Proverbs 11:30. “…and He that winneth souls is wise…”

f. Acts 2:45, “…and parted them to all men as every man had need…”

III. THE GOOD SAMARITAN – What I have I will share it. I will even give more. v. 33-35, “…He had compassion on Him…”

a. Cheerful Giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

b. Give and it shall be given to you. Luke 6:38

c. Your tithes and offering.

d. So shall (Social). Proverbs 3:9-10, “…so shall thy barns…”

IV. AGAPE LOVE – I LOVE YOU and I will give my life for you. Romans 5:8. Agape love. Selfless, Sacrificial, Unconditional Love. THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL.

a. John 3:16, “…For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son…THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

b. You can give without loving but you cannot love without giving.

WE SHOULD SHARE WHAT WE HAVE ESPECIALLY THE LOVE OF GOD (THE AGAPE LOVE) TO ALL PEOPLE. WE SHOULD NOT BECOME INDIFFERENT. Imagine you are on the COVID Stricken place. In the Hospital. Sick people lie on the Patient’s Bed. Intubated. They don’t know the Love of God. Imagine after a War and there are dead people everywhere, they don’t know the Love of God. W should share the Love of God, the Gospel to other people. First, to our Loved Ones.. Relatives.. Friends… etc. THE GREATES LOVE OF ALL., THE LOVE OF JESUS. He said, “…I LOVE YOU…AND I WILL DIE FOR YOU…
