Summary: The great promise is one that Jesus gave to all people.
In this day and time, we as Christian’s and non-Christian’s alike, tend to make promise’s to our friends, to our co-workers, and to our family’s. Now I know for the most part, we all try to keep our promise, and for the most part we do. But, there is always that {something} Thatcomes up. Then we forget the promise that we made,to our family, friends, or co-workers. Now I know that we are in the flesh, and I know that we are not perfect, and yes we do tend to forget, that we made a promise, to mom and dad, to our boss, or to a friend. Well my friend I know of one man today, that walked on this earth 2000 years ago, He was a perfect man, He knew no sin, He went around healing people, rasing the dead, and forgiving man of his sin’s. He was a man that made promise’s and he never ever broke the first one,and he is still keeping Hie promise’s today. The man’s name is Jesus,Jesus, Jesus, the sweetest name I know,he walks with me, and talks with me,along life’s narrow road. He is my friend, a friend that sticks closer than a brother, He is a friend that never breaks a promise. Now there is a promise that Jesus made to hie children, and I believe it to be the great promise. It is found {John-14:1-3} Let not your heart be troubled:ye believe in God; believealso in me.In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receieve you unto myself; that where I am there you may be also. O sinner this is a promise, thatJesus made to you as well,if you will only believe in Him,and trust in Him,and repent of your sins,O sinner come to Jesus today, Then you to can hold to this great promise.
