1. The PATH of the Godly Christian. (v. 1) Blessed is the man Deuteronomy 28:2-14; Psalm 2:12; 32:1; 106:3; 112:1; Jeremiah 17:7; Luke 11:28; John 20:29; Revelation 1:3
a. He does not BELIEVE like the wicked. (v. 1a) who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly Genesis 49:6; Leviticus 26:27-28; 2 Chronicles 22:3; Job 21:16; 22:18; Psalm 64:2; 81:12-13; 106:43; 119:1, 9; 128:1; Proverbs 1:15; 4:14-15; 8:32; 13:20; Isaiah 33:15-17; Ezekiel 20:18-19; Jude 1:4

2. The PLEASURE of the Godly Christian. (v. 2) Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32; 17:19; 1 Kings 2:3; Revelation 22:14
a. The WORD has captured his Full AFFECTION. (v. 2a) but his delight is in the law of the LORD Job 23:12; Psalm 40:8; 112:1; 119:11, 35, 47-48, 72, 92; Jeremiah 6:10; 15:16; Romans 7:22; 1 John 5:1-21
b. The WORD has captured his Full ATTENTION. (v. 2b) and in His law doth he meditate day and night Genesis 24:63; Joshua 1:8; Ezra 7:10; Psalm 37:31; 104:34; 111:10; 119:11, 15, 48, 77-78, 97-99, 105, 174; Acts 17:11; 1 Timothy 4:13, 15
3. The POTENTIAL of the Godly Christian. (v. 3) Colossians 2:7; Revelation 22:2
a. His PERMANENCE. (v. 3a) And he shall be like a tree Numbers 24:6; Job 14:9; Psalm 52:8; Ecclesiastes 2:6; Ezekiel 17:8; 47:12; Revelation 22:2
b. His POSITION. (v. 3b) planted by the rivers of water Job 29:19; Isaiah 44:4; Jeremiah 17:8; Ezekiel 17:8; 19:10; Revelation 22:2
