Summary: A message of hope in the times we are living in.

Good Morning.

Stand with me and hold up your Bible and repeat after me.

This is my Bible.

I am what it says I am.

I have what it says I have.

I can do what it says I can do.

Today I will be taught more of the Word of God.

I boldly confess:

My mind is alert,

My heart is receptive.

I will never be the same.

I am about to receive the incorruptible, indestructible, ever-living seed of the Word of God.

I will never be the same—

I'll never be the same, in Jesus’ Name!

Amen.

“The God Who Wipes Every Tear”

Turn with me in your Bible to Revelation 21:4 and say, "Amen" when you are there.

Let us read this together.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

There are verses in Scripture that feel like oxygen to a weary soul—and Revelation 21:4 is one of them.

It is God’s promise that the pain of this world is not permanent. The valleys we walk through are not the final chapter.

The suffering we endure will not follow us into eternity.

In this single verse, God reveals His tender heart and His ultimate plan:

to personally comfort His people and to permanently remove every source of sorrow.

1. GOD SEES EVERY TEAR

Before God ever wipes away a tear in eternity, He counts every tear on earth.

Psalm 56:8 tells us that He keeps our tears in His bottle—none are ignored, none are wasted, none are overlooked.

You may have cried yourself to sleep.

You may have cried because of betrayal, disappointment, sickness, addiction, incarceration, grief, or the weight of decisions you wish you could undo.

But hear this today: Your tears have never fallen unnoticed.

God has seen every one of them.

2. GOD PROMISES AN END TO PAIN

Revelation 21:4 is not wishful thinking or poetic language—

it is a guaranteed prophetic reality.

He says:

“No more death” — because Christ conquered the grave.

“No more sorrow” — because He is the God of all comfort.

“No more crying” — because joy will be our eternal atmosphere.

“No more pain” — because the curse will be reversed forever.

All the things that break us in this world will one day be banished from God’s Kingdom.

3. THE FORMER THINGS WILL PASS AWAY

Everything that has wounded you…

Everything that has haunted you…

Everything that you can’t seem to let go of…

God says it will pass away.

It has an expiration date.

Your suffering does not get to follow you into your eternal future.

This world may wound you, but it cannot claim you.

Christ has the final word over your story.

AN ENCOURAGING STORY

A pastor once visited an elderly woman from his church who had battled sickness for years. Every doctor’s visit brought new pain. Every treatment seemed harder than the last. Yet she kept her Bible open on her nightstand, always turned to Revelation 21.

One day the pastor noticed words written in the margin next to verse 4:

“This promise is stronger than my pain.”

When he asked her why she wrote it, she smiled and said:

“Every time the pain gets worse, I read this verse and whisper,

‘This world can only hurt me for a little while,

but God will heal me for eternity.’

And that gives me all the strength I need for today.”

Her peace wasn’t based on her circumstances—

it was rooted in God’s promise.

This is the power of Revelation 21:4.

It lifts our eyes from our pain to His victory.

4. GOD HIMSELF WILL WIPE AWAY YOUR TEARS

Notice the personal touch:

God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

This is not the job of angels.

It is not delegated.

The Almighty God—

the One who spoke galaxies into being—

will lean close, touch your face, and wipe away every tear.

That is the tenderness of your Father.

“BRING YOUR PAIN TO THE GOD WHO HEALS”

If you’re carrying a heavy heart today…

If you’re burdened by regret…

If you’re grieving a loss…

If you’re battling addiction…

If you’re tired of trying to fix life on your own…

Then this moment is for you.

Jesus died and rose again so that the broken pieces of your life could be made whole.

Today, He invites you to come home.

If you want to surrender your life to Christ…

If you want His forgiveness…

If you need His healing…

If you long for that promise of “no more tears”…

Then I invite you to come—right now.

Come to the altar.

Come to the One who restores.

Come to the One who wipes the tears no one else sees.
