INTRODUCTION
God is revealed in Scripture as the One who speaks and life responds. Dead things: spiritually, emotionally, physically, or destinically cannot resist the authority of His voice. When God speaks, what was concluded by man is reversed by heaven.
Throughout the Bible, we see God confronting situations that were sealed, buried, and written off. Each time He spoke, life returned. This message reminds us that no matter how long a situation has been dead, the voice of God still carries resurrection power.
1. GOD’S WORD HAS CREATIVE POWER
Before God restores life, He releases His word, because His word carries the creative force of heaven.
a) God creates by speaking - Everything God made came into existence through His word (Hebrews 11:3).
b) Nothing is too dead for God’s voice - God’s word overrides impossibility (Luke 1:37).
c) God’s word carries life within it - His words are spirit and life (John 6:63).
d) When God speaks, stagnation ends - Movement begins where God’s voice is heard (Psalm 33:6).
Biblical Example: Creation of the World (Genesis 1:1–3)
2. GOD SPEAKS LIFE TO SPIRITUALLY DEAD SITUATIONS
Spiritual dryness and deadness are not permanent when God releases revival through His Spirit and word.
a) Spiritual death separates man from divine activity - Sin kills spiritual vitality, but God restores it (Ephesians 2:1).
b) God revives dry spiritual bones - He brings renewal where passion is lost (Psalm 85:6).
c) Revival responds to prophetic utterance - God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy to dry bones (Ezekiel 37:4).
d) The Holy Spirit releases resurrection power - The Spirit quickens dead lives (Romans 8:11).
Biblical Example: Valley of Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37:1-10)
3. GOD SPEAKS LIFE TO DEAD DESTINIES
A destiny may be delayed, buried, or ignored, but it cannot die when God speaks again.
a) A buried destiny is not a destroyed destiny - God’s purpose still stands (Jeremiah 29:11).
b) Delay does not cancel God’s plan - God works by appointed time (Habakkuk 2:3).
c) God restores forgotten callings - His gifts are irrevocable (Romans 11:29).
d) God can restore lost years with one word - Restoration follows divine intervention (Joel 2:25).
Biblical Example: Joseph’s Destiny Restored (Genesis 41:39-44)
4. GOD SPEAKS LIFE EVEN IN THE PRESENCE OF DEATH
Physical death and hopeless situations bow to God’s resurrection authority.
a) Jesus has authority over death - He is the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25).
b) God is never intimidated by hopeless situations - He steps in when all hope seems gone (John 11:39).
c) Obedience activates resurrection power - Faith responds to God’s command (John 11:43).
d) Resurrection reveals God’s glory - God is glorified through restored life (John 11:40).
Biblical Example: Lazarus Raised from the Dead (John 11:39-44)
5. GOD SPEAKS LIFE THROUGH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST
Jesus is the channel through which God releases life, restoration, and victory over death.
a) Jesus speaks with divine authority - His words carry heaven’s power (Matthew 7:29).
b) Jesus restores life instantly
Death obeys His voice (Luke 7:14).
c) Jesus brings hope to broken families - Compassion precedes restoration (Luke 7:13).
d) Jesus turns mourning into joy - Where He appears, sorrow ends (Isaiah 61:3).
Biblical Example: Widow of Nain’s Son Raised (Luke 7:11-15)
CONCLUSION
God’s voice is the ultimate answer to every form of death. When He speaks, graves open, chains break, and destinies rise. No situation is beyond repair when subjected to the authority of His word. What men have concluded as final is only temporary before God.
This message calls believers to shift their focus from the condition of the grave to the power of God’s voice. As you align yourself with His word and believe His promises, resurrection will take place in every dead area of your life, and new testimonies will emerge.
