INTRODUCTION:

Every believer has a divine assignment, a God-given destiny that is designed to impact generations and glorify His name. Yet, life is filled with attacks, distractions, delays, and obstacles aimed at derailing destiny. The good news is that the same God who calls you to a purpose is the God who preserves that destiny.

Preservation does not mean a life without challenges; rather, it is God’s protection, guidance, and supernatural intervention to ensure His plan is accomplished despite opposition. Scripture reminds us that God does not forsake His children. Even when the enemy designs traps, God intervenes to keep the destiny intact.

This message reveals how God actively preserves your destiny, teaches you to cooperate with His preservation, and demonstrates that every attack, delay, or setback is temporary when your life is under divine protection.

1. GOD PRESERVES YOU IN THE MIDST OF ADVERSITY

Destiny preservation often occurs in the heart of trials.

a) God Protects His Saints (Psalm 37:28)

No attack, setback, or adversity can prevent God’s plan from being fulfilled.

b) He Orchestrates Events for Your Good (Genesis 50:20)

What the enemy designs for harm, God redirects to fulfil your purpose.

c) Divine Intervention Overrides Circumstances (Daniel 6:16-23)

God can shut the mouths of lions, prisons, and oppressors to preserve destiny.

d) Faithfulness Preserves You (Proverbs 16:4)

God’s design is perfected through His faithful preservation, not human effort.

Biblical Example:

Joseph’s journey through betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment did not stop God’s plan; his destiny was preserved for a divine purpose (Genesis 50:20).

2. GOD PRESERVES YOU THROUGH SUPERNATURAL GUIDANCE

Destiny preservation involves direction and timing beyond human understanding.

a) God Prepares You in Secret (Jeremiah 1:5)

Before birth, God knows your destiny and begins preserving it through divine preparation.

b) He Leads You Away from Harm (Psalm 23:3)

Guidance prevents detours that could hinder destiny fulfillment.

c) His Timing is Perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Destiny unfolds at God’s appointed time, not by human impatience.

d) Divine Strategies Expose Enemy Plans (Isaiah 46:4)

God reveals and nullifies schemes meant to derail your assignment.

Biblical Example:

David’s time in the wilderness, though filled with threats, was a season where God preserved and prepared him for kingship (1 Samuel 23:14).

3. GOD PRESERVES YOUR DESTINY THROUGH FAITHFUL INTERCESSION

Intercession plays a role in maintaining God’s preservation over your life.

a) Prayer Sustains Divine Protection (1 Corinthians 10:13)

The believer’s reliance on God in prayer fortifies destiny against temptations and attacks.

b) Corporate Prayer Strengthens Preservation (Exodus 17:11-12)

Intercession by others can uphold destiny in critical moments.

c) Faith Activates Preservation (Hebrews 11:33-34)

Faith releases the power of God to keep His promises intact despite opposition.

d) Spiritual Support Shields Against Delay (Acts 12:5-7)

God can deliver from unseen attacks when prayer and faith are exercised.

Biblical Example:

Daniel’s preservation in the lion’s den was a result of God’s power, faith, and prayer being exercised, ensuring his destiny remained intact (Daniel 6:16-23).

4. GOD’S PRESERVATION LEADS TO DESTINY FULFILLMENT

Preservation is purposeful; it ensures that your divine assignment reaches completion.

a) God Ensures Victory Despite Opposition (Psalm 37:34)

Patience and trust align you with God’s preservation.

b) Every Attack Is Temporary (Job 42:10)

What seems like a setback is only a season that preserves your future.

c) Preservation Brings Promotion (Psalm 75:6-7)

Remaining under God’s protection positions you for elevation.

d) God Rewards Faithfulness (Revelation 2:10)

Those preserved by God are honored and their purpose fulfilled.

Biblical Example:

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were preserved in the fiery furnace, demonstrating that God preserves destiny and purpose even in life-threatening situations (Daniel 3:16-28).

CONCLUSION:

The God who calls you to your destiny is the God who preserves it. Opposition, attacks, and delays may come, but they cannot stop the divine plan. Preservation is active, supernatural, and purposeful. Believers are encouraged to trust, obey, and walk in faith, knowing that God is guarding their destiny at every level.

As you surrender to His preservation today, every attempt of the enemy to derail you will fail, and your God-given assignment will be fulfilled in abundance and glory.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, preserve my destiny by Your power and faithfulness.

2. Lord, protect me from every attack, delay, and derailment.

3. Every plan of the enemy to destroy my destiny, fail now.

4. Father, strengthen me to remain faithful during preservation seasons.

5. Lord, guide me with divine wisdom to walk in my assignment.

6. Preserve me in health, finances, and relationships for my destiny.
