INTRODUCTION
Beloved, we live in a world filled with uncertainties—economic shaking, spiritual battles, emotional storms, and unpredictable challenges. But David, a man who faced lions, bears, Goliath, and Saul’s spear, gives us a powerful revelation:
📌 God does not only deliver—He hides His own.
📌 God does not only hide—He lifts His own.
📌 God does not only lift—He establishes His own on the Rock.
Tonight, the Lord will do these three things in your life!
POINT 1: “In the Time of Trouble…” — TROUBLE IS A SEASON, NOT A SENTENCE
David did not say, “if trouble comes,” he said “IN the time of trouble.”
Trouble is part of the believer’s journey.
But trouble is temporary, and God is permanent.
Biblical Support:
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” — Psalm 34:19
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…” — Isaiah 43:2
Illustration:
When a plane enters turbulence, the pilot doesn’t abandon the journey—he adjusts altitude.
God does not abandon you in turbulent seasons—He shifts your altitude!

POINT 2: “He Shall Hide Me in His Pavilion” — GOD PROVIDES SUPERNATURAL COVERING
A pavilion in ancient Israel was the king’s private, guarded, royal shelter—only accessible to those close to him.
David says:
?? God Himself becomes my panic room.
?? My hiding place is not a building—it is a Person.
Biblical Support:
“Thou art my hiding place.” — Psalm 32:7
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower…” — Proverbs 18:10
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High…” — Psalm 91:1
Illustration:
A chick runs under the wings of the mother hen when danger comes. The predator cannot attack without meeting the hen first.
So also, any enemy seeking you must pass through God first!

POINT 3: “In the Secret of His Tabernacle…” — ACCESS TO DIVINE SECRETS
God does not only hide you; He hides you in the secret place—a location where:
? Revelations flow
? Instruction is clear
? Peace is restored
? Direction is given
Biblical Support:
“Call unto me… and I will show thee great and mighty things…” — Jeremiah 33:3
“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants…” — Amos 3:7
Jesus often withdrew to the secret place before major miracles — Mark 1:35
Illustration:
Before a military operation, soldiers gather in a command room where strategies are given.
Likewise, when God hides you, He is not only protecting you—He is preparing you.
---
POINT 4: “He Shall Set Me Up Upon a Rock” — THE GOD WHO ESTABLISHES
He hides you for a season so He can establish you for a lifetime.
The Rock Represents:
Stability — no more shaking
Elevation — rising above enemies
Visibility — your testimony becomes evident
Victory — you stand unmovable
Biblical Support:
“Upon this rock I will build my church…” — Matthew 16:18
“He set my feet upon a rock and established my goings.” — Psalm 40:2
God does not just rescue you; He relocates you.

Psalm 27:5 assures us that in every season of life—good or bad—God is not distant. He is your Refuge, your Secret Place, and your Rock.
If you stay in His presence, you will rise in His power.
If you hide under His wings, you will emerge in His glory.
You are coming out of every trouble with a testimony!
